It was the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in, with the most fully stocked kitchen as well. My group and I were on our way to stay in Asheville when the hurricane devastated the area. We decided to try and salvage our vacation in the Gatlinburg area. At the time, we were unsure how bad Asheville had been hit and if we could still end our vacation there. Amanda was responsive and understanding about our situation. The views from this property are gorgeous. The location is a bit remote but that is the point of being in the mountains. We had 6 adults and 6 kids with plenty of room for all. You do have to use the futon if sleeping 12 but with 10 everyone can easily be in a room. The property was maybe the cleanest nightly rental I have ever stayed in. The host communicates well. Overall we had a great stay and would choose this property again.

Our family had a great stay at Birdsong Ridge. Mountain views were stunning and everything was exactly as described in her listing. Great location that is an easy drive to DT Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, but it's also far enough away that everything feels very private and secluded. I was a bit concerned about the drive up based on some prior reviews, but it honestly wasn't bad at all and we had zero issues with transportation. Amanda is also extremely communicative and on top of everything. Definitely recommend.

We wanted to be out of the hubbub of Gatlinburg- yet close enough which Amanda's home provided. She was very easy to work with and her home had everything we needed- even nice stand-alone fans in the bedroom (we had brought our own). It was a lovely week.

The house was great and if you choose to rent it I am sure you will enjoy it. First the amazing things in the rental: The view, the espresso machine, the quiet, Large Roku televisions, the internet, and the HVAC worked well. We used the air and the heat during our stay and it responded quickly, the gas grill worked well, children’s books, and an arcade game. There are a few quirks with the rental that you will want to plan for: Thin walls, the laundry is off a bedroom, counter space is very limited, no pantry/limited storage for groceries, steep roads, the hot tub is behind the house with no exit close, there are no steps from the upper deck to the ground. Overall a nice rental and a beautiful location. We hope you enjoy your time there.

Due to inclement weather, I was pretty worried about our party making it to the cabin before the weather started to get nasty. Amanda worked with us for days prior to our reservations to get us in there at a decent time. Seriously, I have 37 emails between us just regarding the timing, the weather and the logistics of our arrival. Once we arrived, we found a few issues that needed to be corrected and within an hour, she had somebody out to fix everything. The cabin is located at a great place with a beautiful mountain view. The host is very friendly and accommodating. The house was very spacious and private. It is located about 15-20 mins away for downtown. The bedding was comfortable with separate bathrooms which is great for big groups. Everything was well maintained and clean. I would recommend bringing kitchen condiments, coffee, etc. as all the utensils are well provided. Overall, I would recommend this stay for a quiet, cozy getaway in the mountains.
